AlphaNautical Marine Sales, Inc.
REVISED:
1 June 2009
FRAMES:
AlphaNautical sells ALL fine art with a frame whether or not the image shows
a frame. All exceptions are noted in the description of the painting. If the
painting is not presented in a frame on this web site, please contact us with
the style of frame you wish. Practically all of our consignment art has a
frame and the frame shown is the frame that will be sold with the painting.
IMAGES
ON THE WEB SITE & PRICING: On this web site, most images of fine art are presented
without a frame. After the piece of fine art is photographed, it is generally
(but not always) framed for presentation in the gallery. The price reflected
on each piece of fine art does include a frame unless it has just recently
arrived and has not yet been framed. As for the frame selections, we do not
have a set frame on the artwork that we can photograph because when our clients
make a selection of a particular piece of art, we often switch out the frames
to suit their taste and room decor. Therefore, at the time you make your selection
we can send you some (jpg) images of different frame styles (based on your
interest in gold, pewter, bronze, ornate, simple, etc.). We do not have an
additional charge for the frame change. After receiving your email regarding
a specific picture, we will determine whether or not it has been framed. If
it has been framed, we will email you an image of the art as it is currently
framed. Should you not be satisfied with the way it is framed we will work
with you to find a frame that meets your requirements.
PRICING: As regards pricing, we do not barter nor do we accept offers, swaps,
trades, or any other similar arrangements. The price listed or sent to you
is the one and only price for the painting. Painting are not sent out for
review, study, evaluatiotion or for any other reason. All sales are final.
The painting is in the condition stated when it leaves the gallery. Should
damage occur during shipment, the insurance carrier will be contacted and
it will be up to the judgement of the insurance company as to how any claim
is settled.
CRATING,
SHIPPING & INSURANCE FEE: The price quoted on our web site on all fine art
includes a fee for crating, shipping and insurance of either $100, $200 or
$300 depending on the size of the piece. This covers destinations in the continental
USA. Additional fees may apply for shipping locations outside the continental
USA and additional insurance. The $100 charge is for any painting with both
sides less than 24 inches. The $200 charge is for paintings in the range between
24 inches and 36 inches. The $300 charge is for any painting with a top or
side greater than 36 inches. For Museum Quality art we offer a special worldwide
pick-up and delivery service for a flat fee of $5,000.
METHOD
OF PAYMENT: We only complete your transaction by credit card on line or by bank wire. We do
not accept cash, money orders, or your credit card information over the phone.
Should you need to pay with a personal or check drawn on a US bank, we will
wait until the check has fully cleared before releasing the painting for shipment.
All sales outside the continental USA must be transacted by bank wire. Please
be sure the net amount sent to us is after all your bank wire fees. Should
you purchase art on this web site using your credit card, rest assured that
since the transaction is processed by our payment gateway we have no knowledge of your
credit card number, type of card, or the expiration date of your card. We
merely know that the transaction was processed successfully.
APPLICABLE
TAXES: If you are a resident of Texas, and do not present a re-sale certificate,
then the sale is subject to 8.25% Texas sales tax. Residents of all other
states do not pay a state sales tax regardless as to the location from which
the painting is shipped.
