AlphaNautical Gallery - Fine Art Policy

COLLECTOR QUALITY ORIGINAL ART:
AlphaNautical only sells collector quality original art. We require that you either contact us through www.AskArt.com or send us an email at jestep@AlphaNautical.com before we contact you with any non-posted price.

Additionally, AlphaNautical has contracts and arrangements with some living artists. Our arrangement is to be their exclusive representative for their original fine art. These artists may have their own gallery or exhibits for the direct sale of their original fine art. They may have a web site for the promotion of their art or for the sale of posters, prints and limited editions.

AlphaNautical may also have contracts and arrangements with the authorized agent/s for some deceased artists. Our arrangement with the agent allows us to present this original fine art online. These agents for these deceased artists may have their own gallery or have exhibits for the direct sale of their original fine art. They may have a web site for the promotion of their art or for the sale of posters, prints and limited editions.

FRAMES:
As a general rule, AlphaNautical sells ALL fine art with a frame whether or not the image shows a frame. If the description of the art indicates that it is framed, then the frame is included in the price. Otherwise, the frame is not included in the price and the frame will be an additional charge. All exceptions are noted in the description of the painting. If the painting is not presented in a frame on this web site, please contact us with the style of frame you wish. We work with several frame shops and will work with you to find a frame that is appropriate for your new painting and your decor. Practically all of our consignment art has a frame and the frame shown is the frame that will be sold with the painting. If a frame needs to be added to the selling price, you should plan on $300 to $500 for small to medium size paintings.

PRICING:
As regards pricing, we do not barter nor do we accept offers, swaps, trades, or any other similar arrangements. The price listed or sent to you is the one and only price for the painting. Painting are not sent out for review, study, evaluation or for any other reason. All sales are final. The painting is in the condition stated when it leaves the gallery. Should damage occur during shipment, the insurance carrier will be contacted and it will be up to the judgement of the insurance company as to how any claim is settled.

CRATING, SHIPPING & INSURANCE FEE:
Although it is not listed for each painting, you should plan on an additional cost for crating, insurance, and shipping. Since each client's situation is different, we will calulate this for you at the time of the sale. For Museum Quality art we offer a special worldwide pick-up and delivery service for a flat fee of $5,000.

METHOD OF PAYMENT:
We normally complete a sales transaction with your personal or business check. We do not accept cash, money orders, or your credit card information. We will wait until the check has fully cleared before releasing the painting for shipment. All sales outside the continental USA must be transacted by bank wire. Please be sure the NET amount sent to us is after all your bank wire fees. Due to the fact that we own other web sites that sell exclusively by credit card, it is possible for us to arrange a credit card sale though another division of our company. Should you purchase art using your credit card, rest assured that since the transaction is processed by PayPal we have no knowledge of your credit card number, type of card, or the expiration date of your card. We merely know that the transaction was processed successfully.

APPLICABLE TAXES:
If you are a resident of Texas, and do not present a re-sale certificate, then the sale is subject to 8.25% Texas sales tax. Residents of all other states do not pay a state sales tax regardless as to the location from which the painting is shipped.
