ALPHANAUTICAL COMPANY NEWS and MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES

DATE & TIME  NEWS ITEM OR SCHEDULED MAINTENCE
March 1, 2004  AlphaNautical Marine Sales, Inc. is incorporated.
October 16, 2013  Upgrade to osCommerce milestone version 2.3.3.4 was completed and implemented successfully.
November 10, 2013  AlphaNautical drops flat-rate shipping fee from $10.95 to $8.95 for packages weighing 5 pounds or less.
November 21-30, 2013  AlphaNautical is in the process of deleting all Kellogg Marine products. Only half of their products had images and their product and image download methodology was totally unsatisfactory. Google is placing stringent requirements on online retailers so we, in turn, must put these requirements on our distributors and their manufacturers.
December 15, 2013  AlphaNautical has just deleted all Wintron products and re-loaded their entire inventory. Most products now have an image and these are their latest prices. We are trying to add many new keywords to our Google Ads to improve your shopping experience.
January 18, 2014  AlphaNautical has just deleted all Wynit products and re-loaded their entire inventory. Most products now have an image and these are their latest prices. We are trying to add many new keywords to our Google Ads to improve your shopping experience.
January 26, 2014  AlphaNautical has just deleted all Seawide products and re-loaded their entire inventory. Most products now have an image and these are their latest prices. We are trying to add many new keywords to our Google Ads to improve your shopping experience.
January 27, 2014  AlphaNautical is updating the CWR Electronics products today.
May 21, 2014 We have deleted all CWR Electronics products and reloaded their latest inventory. We have deleted all knives from their inventory since as of 5/1/2014, Google has unilaterally re-classified all knives as "weapons".

We have deleted all Wynit products. They carry the bulk of the knives which we have dropped in order to satisfy Google's unilateral decision to re-classify all knives as "weapons". We are also splitting their product line as many products were more suitable for our sister company North Texas Copier, Inc. Finally there is an unresolved issue relating to product images. Unlike AlphaNautical, Wynit believes that it is the responsibility of their "Resellers" to provide their own images from the Internet instead of providing them for every product in a consistent size like CWR Electronics does for AlphaNautical.

We have deleted all dive knives from Cetacea and Promate USA distributors in order to satisfy Google's re-classification of dive knives as "weapons".
May 22, 2014 We had a "communication gap" from May 13th thru May 21st. Our Hosting service suddenly went out of business causing us to have to migrate our web site to a new hosting service. The email service was also moved but there was a delay in getting the new service started due to an oversight which was finally corrected on 5/21/2014. There was a deluge of emails and we are trying to resolve all issues as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience or delay that this has caused for our clients.
September 8, 2014 Our first distributor/supplier was Cetacea starting back in 2004. We regret that we will no longer be selling their products as they were the only distributor/supplier who charged us a "drop ship" fee. As of today we have deleted all their products.
