NOTE: This is a simplified overview of our standard drop-ship process so you can understand the time required to process and ship your order.
AlphaNautical does everything possible to process orders as quickly as possible. The process works as follows:
Day 1: Orders received by approximately 5PM are either "VOIDED" or "CAPTURED" on the Authorize.net web site. This is a "batch" process so the funds do not become available to us until 9AM the NEXT BUSINESS DAY (i.e. Monday thru Friday).
Day 2: Funds are moved by online transfer from a special bank account used by Authorize.net to our bank account. Then they are appied to our credit card account. Although this is an electronic transaction, the credit card companies do not make these funds available to us to use until after 9AM the NEXT BUSINESS DAY.
Day 3: With funds now available in the credit card account, the order is placed with the distributor and generally shipped the same day.
