RETURN AND REFUND POLICY


AlphaNautical Marine Sales, Inc. (dba www.AlphaNautical.com and aka "AlphaNautical") was founded in 2004 and since that time we have tried to consistently provide our clients with the finest quality gear and the highest level of customer service in the nautical and marine drop-ship industry. Our founder, Joe Stephenson, has his photograph, phone number, and email address clearly posted on the front page of the website.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, AlphaNautical will provide a refund or exchange the item within 30 days of purchase.

Since AlphaNautical "drop-ships" 100% of our products from our distributors, we are required by ALL of them to first obtain an authorization (known as a Return Merchandise Authorization or "RMA") prior to shipping the product back to the distributor. We prefer that you contact AlphaNautical by email with the details of the problem so that we have a written record that contains your contact information (bill to and ship to names, addresses and phone numbers to match your order), a description of what was purchased, and details of the problem. We will forward that to the distributor and the distributor will send you the authorization to return the product in question.

Absolutely no products are returned to AlphaNautical. All returns are made to the distributor from which the product was shipped.

Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded unless an error occurred on our part in the shipment of your order. The cost of shipping and handling the return of a product by the client to a distributon will be the responsibility of the client.


GUIDELINES:
Ujena swim suits may not be returned under any circumstances.

Promate brand divewear is guaranteed for 30 days but may not be returned if it has been worn in the water.
All other boots, shoes, coats, jackets and protective wear are guaranteed for 30 days under normal use and against defects in materials or workmanship.

Our standard return policy does not apply to the following items:

National brand optics and electronic items may be returned to the Distributor with an "RMA" authorization within 30 days of purchase with the original sales receipt from AlphaNautical.
The item must be returned in its' original packaging and with all accompanying manuals and accessories.
After 30 days these items must be returned to the manufacturer.
All manufacturer warranties are in effect.

Optics include: Binoculars, scopes, spotting scopes, rangefinders, sights, and sunglasses.
Electronics include: GPS, sonar, cameras, radios, DVDs, metal detectors, watches, digital compasses, personal locator beacons, marine navigation hardware, marine telecommunication hardware, and electric trolling motors.


Outboard motors, trolling motors, and engines may not be returned if sold as a remanufactured product.
Items sold as NEW may be returned for up to 30 days if defective.
Items needing repair should be returned to the manufacturer or an authorized service center.


For items damaged in shipment or drop shipped directly from the distributor, vendor or manufacturer, please call Joe Stephenson at 1-800-719-4736 or 214-725-3393 or email jestep@AlphaNautical.com for authorization before returning.
Some products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty that requires items to be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair.

NOTICE to all clients:

AlphaNautical does not ship outside the continental USA and thus it follows that we do not accept any returns from outside the continental USA.

Due to the high incidence of FRAUD throughout the world, AlphaNautical has a stringent policy of rejecting all orders with a bill to address not matching the ship to address or the name and address on the credit card.

Due to the high cost of various marine hardware which often ranges from $1000 to $25,000, we may defer processing your order for up to 2 days to see cleared funds.

We would appreciate clients limiting their purchase to just one distributor per order since the flat rate shipping table is not designed to handle multiple distributors on an order.

Finally, AlphaNautical reserves the right to make a full refund to a client if there is a "pricing error". (We receive our cost and MSRP data from the distributors in spreadsheet format. The proper calculation of our discounted price requires that both factors be present. Occasionally, when loading thousands of products at a time it is possible to miss a product with missing data.)


ALPHANAUTICAL'S WARRANTY/RETURN POLICY:
AlphaNautical offers a return period of 30 days from date of receipt.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for all returns.
Returned products must be complete in the original packaging and resalable.
Special Order items may not be returned.
Opened and/or unsealed DVDs, CDs, and cartography are not returnable unless defective.
Units requiring service, either warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer.
To obtain an RMA number, please send an email to jestep@AlphaNautical.com or call Joe Stephenson at 1-800-719-4736 or 214-725-3393 and be sure to provide the original AlphaNautical Order number, product being returned, and the reason for return.
Returned merchandise may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%; please contact the RMA department at the appropriate distributor for details.


o If provided by the distributor, use the "UPS Returns Prepaid" label on your packing list. The return shipping charge will be deducted from your merchandise credit or refund. Find a UPS drop-off location.

o Use the shipper of your choice. For your protection, insure the package for the full value and send to the RMA address provided by the distributor.
